Welcome to your home away from home at Elk View Lodge! We hope that you will make yourself comfortable and enjoy all that the Lodge has to offer.

To maximize your enjoyment of the Lodge, we hope that you will treat it with the same respect and care as you would your own home. Please maintain the property in the same condition as it was received upon your arrival.

To that end, we have created an inventory list of all the contents in the Lodge so that there are no misunderstandings at the end of your stay and we can return your damage deposit to you in full.

The $1,000 cash damage deposit payable at check-in is for our security and the inventory list is for your security. Guests are liable for any damages or loss to the premises and the furnishings, carpets, equipment, linens and household items that occur during the guest’s occupancy, so we recommend you go through the house and report any damages prior to settling in to enjoy your stay (much as you would walk around a rental car before driving off the lot). If you like, your host can go through it with you so that everyone is in agreement. Once you have toured the property, please sign the inventory list and return it to your host for their signature.

Please note it is the registered occupant who is responsible for all damages on a 1st and 3rd party basis for repair, remediation, or replacement. The rental charges cover the designated number of occupants indicated in the reservation. Permitted occupancy on the Lodge is not to exceed this number except by advanced arrangement for a designated function such as a wedding.

Please note that checkout time is 11am. Quiet time is from 11pm to 7am. Hot tub hours are from 7am to midnight. We reserve the right to fine or evict at our discretion, with no refund, on the basis of violation of rental policies including, but not limited to, excessive noise and inappropriate or illegal behaviour. Smoking within the vicinity of the Lodge is prohibited.

The use of the commercial kitchen is permitted. Please note that the kitchen must be left in the same condition in which it was received – CLEAN. All dishes, pots, pans & cooking utensils must be clean upon departure. Failure to do so will result in a $50/hour charge to clean the kitchen.
